Tonight Kenton and I sat down to figure out our time line.. If all goes well and according to what other people have experience our child or children will be home with us in time to celebrate my 34th (OMG 34!!!) birthday... How fun would that be?
Not only did we calculate the timeline, but we reached out to a few of our closest friends and asked them to be our references. We needed 6, which is a lot! We have chosen Auntie April, Auntie Naomi, Uncle Pinky, Auntie Vosters and two other ones we cant decide between. The home study will start right after we return from Punta Cana... Needless to say Kenton and I will be hermits until this is over....So I am apologizing to all of our friends now! Unfortunately the money aspect of this can change at the drop of a hat and we need to be prepared for it..
Thank you Lord for giving us the finances to be able to do this!Now all I pray is that you give me the patience to make it through this......
